Welcome to our first two international Diamond Ultra racers; Jack Broadhurstfrom Great Britain and Peter Wilson from Australia. Peter recently donated $104 000 to the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation and aims to raise even more at the R&I 09.

Welcome to Bev Wilson who will be racing in the 2009 K-Rock Ultra! Bev competed in the 2007 Cold Foot Classic; you may have seen her volunteering at the Ingraham CP as well.

Registration is now OPEN!
Registration for the 2009 Rock and Ice Ultra is now open. Dates are set for March 21-26, 2009. Register early to take advantage of the 'Very Early' and 'Early' registration schedule.
Racers participating to raise money for a charity or who are racing for a media outlet are encouraged to contact the race director at scott@rockandiceultra.com for potential race sponsorship. There are a limited number of sponsored passes so please get in touch soon.

Welcome Back!
We'd like to welcome back Yellowknifer Tom Ashley who competed in the 2008 K-Rock Ultra; in 2009 Tom will be competing in the Diamond Ultra.
Also returning to give the K-Rock another shot is our friend Lionel Dyck from South Africa.

Web Revisions
Our Team at Modern Earth are busy revising the 2009 website. We are developing a photography website where racers can download and purchase race photos. We are also building a 'Rock Shop - On Line'; an on line shop where racers can purchase everything they will need to race in the Rock and Ice.
